Today's site is aiwnios.i2p.

A thing I will never unsee

Overview
aiwnios.i2p isn't all that bad. It's actually something special. Very special. It claims to be a web server running on TempleOS which even includes source code. Not only for the web server, but an IRC server as well. The claim is that all of this was written in HolyC.

For those of you who don't know. TempleOS was written by this crazy insane programmer named Terry A. Davis. He wrote it over ten years of mental instability and claimed it was a message from God.

Needless to say, it's Bible themed. It also supports 64 bits and supports many CPU cores. Though, it doesn't use SMP like a modern computer does. It treats the first core as the master and then the master hands out tasks to all the slave CPUs. each one being bound to it's core till the execution completes. Very different from what a modern OS does by allowing a process to swap execution between cores almost seamlessly.

And, then there are the graphics! It only works in 640x480 in 16 colors because that's what God told him it should be in.

Networking is simply not supported. I think he was getting more than enough messages from God, so he didn't need the internet.

Using it is like using an old Atari or Apple computer with Basic in ROM. But, instead of Basic, you have HolyC and bible games. It's a mind trip.

Back to the site. This site is made up in the style of TempleOS. It really lays into it. Hard.

He doesn't just talk about geeky stuff, he talks about life. It's also a blog. But, a rather depressing one.

1. Appearance
He's got the TempleOS aesthetic nailed. Wow.
5/5!

2. Quality
The dedication. If even some of this guys claims are true, then just wow. Porting TempleOS to ARM? The entirety of the page? And, it's not just one page. It's many, many sub pages.
5/5!

3. Nitpicks
Not a single things. I'm impressed. It also does not appear to be running a standard web server. I'm impressed.
5/5!

4. Refresh
It's worth a look. Beyond the harsh language of his blog, there is something special here. You really need to doomscroll it.
5/5!
